Sixteen veterinarians from Belgium and The Netherlands successfully completed, as the first ones in Europe, the VetCEE-approved European Postgraduate Program in Porcine Veterinary Medicine.
The course took place over two years (in total 750 hours blended learning) and covered all aspects of porcine health management. The program included classes, clinical and practical sessions, herd visits, case reports and the participants had to make and orally defend a dissertation. The graduation ceremony took place on Friday 20 September 2019 at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Ghent University.
